- one new queen in bedroom downstairs.
- one latt queen bed in Southern loft-up a ladder.
- two single innersprung beds in Northern loft up a ladder.
- one queen fold down bed in living room.
- kitchen wood burning stove
- gas cooker and electric fridge with ice box
- open plan kitchen/living, bathroom (toilet, shower, basin) and streamside bush bath.
- one tent site, being a part of the group.
- a total maximum of nine people including campers.
- Barbeque
- bicycles available.
- kayak hire
- safe, sandy swimming beach loaded with shellfish 200metres away.
- one hour return bush walk in rainforest.

Ruru Cottage Tariff:
- a minimum tariff of NZ$120 per day, May
to October incl., for up to two adults and three children.
- a minimum tariff of NZ$180 per day, November
to April incl., for up to two adults and three children.
- For each extra adult, add NZ$20 per
night and extra children add NZ$5 per night.
- Full linen supplied, includes towels, tea towels.
- 1 night only please add $20.
- weekly rates available during off season by arrangement.
