Arriving at The Innlet
It is a 2 hour drive from Nelson to The Innlet. The road passes through Motueka and crosses the Takaka Hill (Marble Mountain). Takaka is the last town with a good shopping centre in which to stock up on food items etc. Also please take note that Takaka is the last place with an ATM!

From there it is a further 30 minutes drive to The Innlet. You may wish to turn off to the village of Collingwood 11km before The Innlet: petrol, diesel, small supermarket. Take careful note of the sign posts.

The Innlet is on the road to Farewell Spit and Pakawau: take care not to miss a turn off or you may end up at the Heaphy Track!. The Homepage has a location map.

Most people arrive by car, but the Intercity Coachlines brings many travellers from Nelson and Christchurch to Golden Bay and has a connecting bus, Golden Bay Coachlines, which runs from Takaka to Collingwood from where we offer a $5 pick up.
